Meet Mario Giraldo, State Farm Insurance Agent

I’ve been in the insurance industry since 2009. My passion for being a voice for the Hispanic community here in Kansas City 🌆 is ultimately what drove me to become a State Farm Agent. As a first-generation American with family roots in Colombia, I carry with me the values my family instilled in me: hard work, dedication, and the belief that community comes first. Those values guide me every day as I work with individuals and families to make sure they are cared for and supported.

Over the years, I’ve helped people with auto, home, life, renters, and business coverage 🚗🏠💼 and one of the most important things I remind people is to review their coverage regularly. Life changes quickly, and it’s important to make sure there aren’t any gaps that could leave you unprepared. That’s why I recommend yearly reviews 🔄 so people can feel confident knowing their coverage still fits where they are in life.

I’m proud to lead one of the few State Farm offices in Kansas City with four bilingual employees 🌎. With four Spanish-speaking team members, we’re able to connect with more people in our community and serve them in the language they’re most comfortable with. We also make it a priority to get involved locally and support organizations that are making a difference ❤️ right here in our city. Community involvement isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we live by.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling ✈️ and unwinding with a good movie 🎬. At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to help people be ready for the unexpected and to know that they have someone they can rely on when life takes a turn.
